Accurate results start from the collection and treatment of urine samples protocol – the chain of custody – which minimizes the chance of false positives or false negatives. Experienced service providers will usually be tighter in the chain of custody, for example, the providers require candidates who will be tested to pass the security check before entering the urine collection room in order to ensure they do not carry items that have the potential to affect the results of the urine test later.
